Servicing

Once you have a Kelch you will want to keep it at its best. Like all presetters they are classified as a gauge and we recommend service at least annually. Most now have PC or IPC controls and need attention periodically to maintain reliability. Our skilled service technicians ensure you maintain calibration and functionality and as part of the service, will take backups and run system diagnostics. After the service, we provide a certificate to ensure you conform to quality standards. We offer three levels of service contracts to ensure you get the cover needed for your operational requirements. 

We have structured the service contracts to offer the most appropriate cover for your operational needs. The options of Silver and Gold are treated like an insurance cover. Premium is paid at the start of the cover in January and runs for 12 months. If the deadline of January 31st is missed, then Bronze is available and paid when the service is completed. This is more expensive than Silver and some of the benefits included in Silver are not available. By selecting Silver or Gold your service is automatically scheduled and we will contact you to arrange a convenient time at the due date.  The calibration and service is then ticked off your to-do-list for that year in January.

KELCH Tool Presetter Annual Service and Support Contract

BRONZE
One Annual Service per presetting machine, including:
Cleaning and lubrication of moving parts
Resetting of vision system and control system
Recalibration and alignment testing
Report on condition of machine
Recommendation of spare parts or repairs needed
Issue of annual calibration certificate
Priority 3 scheduling for servicing and callouts
Inclusive of Kelch service engineers travel time and expenses - No hidden extras

SILVER
Pre-payment required by 31st January annually
One Annual Service per presetting machine, pre-booked
Includes:
Cleaning and lubrication of moving parts
Resetting of vision system and control system
Recalibration and alignment testing
Report on condition of machine
Recommendation of spare parts or repairs needed
Issue of annual calibration certificate
Priority 2 scheduling for servicing and callouts
Inclusive of Kelch service engineers travel time and expenses – No hidden extras
Telephone / Email Support
Access to our technical support staff, whilst you are at the machine to reduce downtime
Email all details of the issue and have the fault analysed by our technicians to resolve the matter quickly
Data Backup Service (for machine controls on XP platform minimum)
Copy taken of your stored tool data, machine settings and programs so you will have peace of mind should your PC control hard drive fail
Control breakdown –Collect & return service included, subject to removal & reinstallation by customer (replacement parts & labour will be  quoted and charged separately)
Your machine control will be collected and returned to Kelch for priority repair by our technicians and returned to you asap
Reduced emergency breakdown callout price
Access to Kelch technical support can reduce the need for an onsite visit. If a callout is required this is at a lower price than the Bronze plan

GOLD

Priority Telephone / Email Support
Access to our technical support staff, whilst you are at the machine to reduce downtime.
